These OTK Boots Were Made for Walking
My autumn must-have list is quite long, but at the top of it? Over-the-knee boots. I'm a sucker for 70s glam from floppy hats to oversized sunglasses to paisley-printed swing dresses. Add a pair of suede thigh-high boots and I'm in fashion heaven.
The trend has waxed and waned over the years, but I am happy to say this is definitely an OTK (over-the-knee, obvi!) boot season. Emilio Pucci's fall 2013 runway brought the groovy boho vibe with look after look featuring the signature psychedelic pattern paired with pastel fur and lust-worthy suede over-the-knee boots.
It's the 20th anniversary of Stuart Weitzman's 5050 boot, an OTK style that features a stretch back for the perfect leg fit. To celebrate, they are releasing several new OTK styles and a "Made for Walking" ad campaign starring the queen of "it" girls, Kate Moss, sporting some fierce thigh-high boots.
